Brampton traffic snarled after driver crashes into pole

Traffic on part of Sandalwood Pkwy. is down to one lane in Brampton after a driver crashed into a pole on Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 28).

Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Sandalwood Pkwy. West and Hurontario St. just before 2:00 p.m. after a vehicle crashed into a pole.

No injuries were reported in the crash but police have closed one lane of Sandalwood Pkwy just west of Hwy. 10 while emergency crews are on the scene.

Drivers should avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
