Brampton toddler dies after being struck by vehicle in residential driveway

A tragic accident claimed the life of a one-year-old girl just after midnight in Brampton.

Police were called to a residence on Royal Salisbury Way, near Hwy. 410 and Williams Pkwy., at 12:18 a.m. The toddler had been struck by a car driven by a family member and was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No charges are expected to be laid.
