Brampton teen charged in a series of alleged ATM robberies

An 18-year-old  from Brampton has been arrested and charged in connection to a series of ATM robberies in Brampton.

Between Friday, Sept. 22  and Thursday, Sept. 28 police say, the teen allegedly targeted multiple financial institutions within the City of Brampton—robbing victims during ATM transactions.

According to investigators, two incidents resulted in minor injuries, while no other injuries were reported.

Eli Roberts, 18, was arrested and charged with five counts of robbery, officers say.

Roberts underwent a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
