Brampton street closed after fuel spill

A major street in Brampton was temporarily closed on Thursday evening (July 15) due to a minor collision, police say.
At 5:52 p.m., Peel Regional Police received a report about a minor collision at Airport Road and Maritime-Ontario Boulevard. Due to the collision, a truck spilled fuel into the northbound lanes. That has required Airport Road’s northbound lanes to be closed at Maritime-Ontario until the area is safe for motorists.
The cleanup is not expected to be overly long, but motorists will need to take alternate routes for at least an hour.
