Feeling a little bit country? Then it’s time to dust off your dancing boots and get ready for a rootin’ tootin’ evening this August at Brampton’s Stomp N’ Stampede.

Brampton’s celebration of all things country is returning to Garden Square next month, and the 8th annual event is back for an in-person experience after going virtual for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stomp N’ Stampede will feature music, family-friendly activities, line dancing lessons and more, including performances from Canadian country music DJ Johnny Rivex and the Double Trouble Dancers, as well as singer and songwriter Nicole Rayy.

Rayy is a four-time Country Music Awards Ontario nominee and has played stages at The Calgary Stampede and the Shanghai World Music Festival in China, and has opened for country music acts like Aaron Pritchett and Brett Kissel.

Stomp N’ Stampede runs on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Garden Square. For more information on Stomp N’ Stampede and more Brampton events visit www.Brampton.ca.
