Brampton speeder charged after loaded handgun found under driver’s seat: police

Police have charged a 19-year-old from Brampton after officers allegedly found a loaded handgun in a car during a traffic stop.
The OPP Highway Safety Division says officers stopped a driver for going 183 km/h on Highway 407.
While officers were investigating, police say a loaded handgun was located under the driver’s seat.
Police say the driver was in breach of court conditions and was arrested by officers.
The 19-year-old has been charged with multiple weapons and traffic offences.
The accused’s name has not yet been released.
