Shooting victim in Brampton rushed to hospital, three men in custody

A man is in serious condition and police have detained multiple suspects following a daylight shooting in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Bovaird Dr. and Gillingham Dr. in Brampton just after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb.21) for reports of a shooting.
Peel Paramedics say a male victim in his 20s was rushed to hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition.
Three males have been taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing, police said. No additional details about the suspects, including their ages, were provided.
Traffic delays are expected in the area while police are investigating and residents are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
