Brampton road closed after driver strikes pedestrian

A person on foot suffered serious injuries late Friday (Oct. 29) when they were struck by a driver in Brampton.
That has led to a road closure. The Peel Regional Police says that Castle Oaks Crossing is closed between Clarkway Drive and Long Branch Trail.
The collision occurred at Clarkway and Castle Oaks.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
