Brampton residents report group of armed males near Creditview and Sandalwood

Police are investigating after receiving reports of a group of possibly armed men in Brampton.
Just before 2:30 p.m. on Friday (May 13), Peel Regional Police said officers were called to the area of Creditview Rd. and Sandalwood Pkwy.
Police said they had been called to the area for reports of four males in the area who were possibly carrying a weapon.
A police spokesperson couldn’t confirm what type of weapon was allegedly seen, but did say that two individuals were in custody but later released without charges.
“Further investigation revealed that there is no evidence at this point in time to support a criminal charge,” police said on Twitter.
No injuries were reported and police said the investigation is ongoing.
