Brampton residents encouraged to submit photos of Christmas decorations to be featured on City’s website

Do you tend to go a little overboard when it comes to Christmas decorations?

The City of Brampton is encouraging residents to send pictures of their festive holiday light displays for the Merry and Bright Brampton Holiday Lights Showcase.

To submit, residents can take a picture of their decorations, and post it to social media with the hashtag #MerryBrightBrampton until December 17.

Those selected will be featured on the City’s website and social media channels from December 20 to 24.

“Sparkling lights and decorations turn dark streets into magical winter wonderlands adding joy and delight to the neighbourhood as the cold sets in. During the holidays, members of the community put their creative outdoor skills to the test with intricate displays, boundless amounts of lights and so much more,” reads a statement from the City.
