The Brampton courthouse house has been closed today (Jan. 30) as crews are working to restore heat to the building.

Peel Regional Police made the announcement on Twitter on Monday morning, saying that the Brampton Provincial Offences Court at 5 Ray Lawson Blvd. had been closed for the day.

Police said there is no heat in the building and that all court dates for Jan. 30 would be rescheduled.

“If you have a matter up today, you will be rescheduled. No need to attend today,” Peel Regional Police said on Twitter.

Anyone with a court hearing scheduled for Jan. 30 is asked to contact the courthouse office at 905-450-4770 on Jan. 31 for an update on your court matter.

You can also contact the courthouse by emailing [email protected].
