More than 2,400 homes and businesses in Brampton have been affected by a power outage that might last until late Thursday (Aug. 12).
Alectra Utilities says that the outage is between Chinguacousy Road and Main Street South, on the north side of Highway 407. The expected time of resumption for all affected customers is 10:30 p.m.
UPDATE: All power was restored shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday.

An estimated 2,449 customers are affected.

During an outage, all intersections with affected stoplights are to be treated as all-way stops.
