The City of Brampton is putting non-profit organizations in the spotlight, as applications for the Advance Brampton Fund are officially locked in. The goal is to support and develop not-for-profit organizations that help Brampton’s overall community health, including incentives focusing on arts and culture, recreation and community safety.
For those curious about program logistics as a current or future applicant, municipal officials are launching a series of free seminars on May 15 in partnership with the Chang School of Continuing Education campus at Toronto Metropolitan University.
According to an official release, new purpose-built seminars are being launched, which include a marketing and financial management series that assist Brampton-based organizations.
The Advance Brampton Fund and @ChangSchoolTMU are hosting free seminars for non-profit and charitable sectors in #Brampton.

Updated seminars from years prior will also be available with a focus on grant writing, strategic oversight and impact measurement. City officials encourage those interested to act fast, as these live events operate on a first come first serve basis.
For those who can’t make it to the in-person events this week, municipal and campus officials are offering a limited online series of seminars.
According to the city, these meeting links will be available to those eligible on the day of the event. As for the in-person events, the specific locations of these seminars will be sent out to approved applicants on the day of the event as well.
