Brampton neighbourhood wishing residents a ‘beary’ Christmas

This year, a select group of Brampton residents got a boost to their holiday decorations.
As part of a way to help Canadians celebrate the holidays, Tim Hortons unveiled a new limited-edition eight-foot-tall inflatable Tim Hortons Holiday Bear decoration complete with built-in illumination.
The coffee chain also launched a contest for neighbourhoods across the country to have their street outfitted with the bears.
On Monday (December 20), the winner was announced—Golf View Drive in Brampton.
There was even a ‘Raising of the Bears’ ceremony, where residents got to see their new decorations installed.
“Every December, we see Canadians get into the holiday spirit by going bigger and bigger with their decorations and creating moments of joy for everyone who sees their warm and welcoming displays. We wanted to gift some of our loyal fans who love Tim Hortons with a really fun and unique holiday decoration that will be a guaranteed showstopper and have neighbours asking to take selfies,” Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons, said in a news release.
