A Brampton woman is celebrating two lottery wins, although one is a little more exciting than the other.

As part of the December 3 draw, Maxima Bello Santos won $2 for her Encore selection, as well as the Lotto Max second prize, worth $131,380.20.

The 52-year-old mother of three said she is a regular player, but she still never expected she’d be lucky enough to win so much money.

“When the cashier told me I won, I started crying,” she said.

Santos plans to use her winnings to pay off some of her debt, as well use some of it to help those who are less fortunate.

Currently, OLG is only booking in-person prize claim appointments for winnings of more than $49,999.90, while all prizes equal to or less than this can be submitted by mail.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Bovaird Drive in Brampton.
