Brampton Men Charged After Drug Bust in Barrie

Six people have been arrested and charged following a drug search warrant at a residence in Barrie, including three men from Brampton.
Six people have been arrested and charged following a drug search warrant at a residence in Barrie, including three men from Brampton.
Members of a Community Response Unit began an investigation in December 2017 after some community complaints, according to Barrie Police Service.
According to police, a Controlled Drug and Substance Act warrant was executed at a residence on Bayfield Street on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
The search warrant lead to a seizure of cocaine valued at approximately $3,000.
A 33-year-old Brampton man, a 30-year-old Brampton man, and a 28-year-old Brampton man have been arrested and charged for allegedly being in possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, and alleged possession for the purpose of trafficking.
A 39-year-old Barrie man and a 22-year-old London woman have been arrested and charged for allegedly being in with possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, alleged possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation.
A 35-year-old man of no fixed address has been arrested and charged for allegedly being in possession of a controlled substance – cocaine.
