Emergency crews in Brampton have pulled a man from ravine in life-threatening condition.

Just before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Brampton Fire and Emergency Services said crews were called to the area of Queen St. and West Dr. for a rescue.

The service said someone was trapped in a ravine, and members of the Technical Rescue Team had to use a haul system to remove the patient.

Peel Paramedics said a man in his 30s suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Traffic was reduced to one lane as emergency crews worked to rescue the man, and BFES said they were working to clear the scene.
