Brampton man facing drug trafficking charges after raid in Belleville

A Brampton man is among 11 people facing charges after a months-long investigation by Belleville Police.

Dubbed Project Renewal, the three-month investigation came to a head yesterday when search warrants were served on four Belleville residences and two vehicles.

Police found cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine and more than $16,000 in cash during the raids.

Devon Johnson-Garcia, 28, is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
