Around 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, police got a report of shots fired in the area of Ardglen Drive and Wilton Drive, near Queen Street and Kennedy.
Officers located several shell casings outside a residence while two other residences were damaged from gunshots.
“The suspect had fled the area after having an altercation with another person,” police say.
On Friday, January 10, investigators arrested a 33 year old Brampton man. He is charged with:
- Point Firearm
- Discharge Firearm with Intent
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- 2 counts of Possession of Firearm, etc. Contrary to Order
The accused appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice on Saturday, January 11 for a bail hearing.
