2 Brampton men dead after separate Toronto shootings

Two Brampton men are dead after separate shootings in Toronto, police say.
The first incident happened in the area of Sheppard Avenue West and Weston Road, with the victim dying in hospital several days after he was shot.
Toronto police said that officers responded to the scene at around 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
The victim, identified as 21-year-old Arslan Ahmad, was found shot inside of a business, police said.
Life-saving measures were attempted and Ahmad was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
On Monday, he died.
There is no word on any suspect information or if any arrests have been made in that case.
Last week, police said that a second victim was assessed for minor injuries at the scene.

Then on Sunday, Sept. 1, officers responded at 6:19 a.m. to the area of Times Road and Eglinton Avenue West for a shooting, police said.
Brampton resident Triston McNally, 37, was found with gunshot wounds.
Life-saving measures were attempted and McNally was brought to hospital, where he died.
Anyone with information on either incident was asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
