Brampton man charged with seven counts of robbery

A string of robberies at convenience stores and gas stations has led to an arrest of a Brampton man.

Peel Regional Police say between January 9 and January 11 seven of the stores and stations were targeted. In each incident various quantities of cash and cigarettes were taken. No weapons were used and there were no injuries.

Today (January 12), members of the 22 Division Uniform Patrol arrested 38-year-old Dinesh Wilson and charged him with seven counts of robbery, seven counts of wearing disguise with intent to commit a crime, one count of breach of probation and one count of breach of recognizance stemming from earlier related robbery charged. He was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice.
