Brampton man charged with first degree murder of his mother

Officers have made an arrest following the death of a 54 year old woman in Brampton.
At 4:10 p.m. on Friday, January 29, police say they were contacted about a man possibly involved with the woman’s disappearance.
“She had not been previously reported as missing,” police said.
“The investigation revealed the woman had met with foul play in the area of Knightsbridge Road and Bramalea Road.”
24 year old Brampton man Tyrell Foster was arrested on January 29 and charged with the first degree murder of his mother, Imebet Foster.
He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on January 30.
Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
