A Brampton man has been charged with assault and uttering threats following a domestic incident near London, police say.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday (June 13), the OPP says officers from the Middlesex County detachment were called to an address in Middlesex Centre, approximately 20 kilometres west of London.

Police say officers were responding to a domestic dispute and a 30-year-old from Brampton was arrested and charged with:

  • Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm – Spousal
  • Assault

Police did not say if any injuries were reported, and have not released the name of the accused who was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date.
