A Brampton man is facing charges after a recent hit-and-run killed a pedestrian in Toronto.

Around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, police say a 52-year-old male pedestrian was struck while crossing in the area of Weston Road and Knob Hill Drive in North York.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The vehicle, a black 2004-2005 BMW 3 Series, did not remain at the scene, police said.
