Brampton man charged after test drive vehicle doesn’t get returned to dealership

An incident in Cornwall where a driver failed to return a vehicle that had been taken for a test drive has led to charges against a Brampton man.
Police in Cornwall say a man went into a car dealership on July 22 and asked to take a vehicle out for a test drive. When he failed to return the dealership called to report the crime.
Following an investigation police made an arrest.
Charges with theft over $5,000 is Sukhdeep Singh Gill, 29, of Brampton.
He was released from custody and ordered to appear in Cornwall court on October 5.
