Brampton man charged after police allegedly locate loaded firearm

A Brampton man is facing charges after a recent search warrant conducted by police.

On Tuesday, June 28, officers conducted a criminal code search warrant at a Brampton residence in the area of Perkins Drive and Van Kirk Drive.

“The search warrant resulted in the seizure of a loaded Glock 23 and a high-capacity magazine,” said police.

21 year old Brampton man Kyle Daly was arrested and charged with:

• Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
• Fail to comply with undertaking
• Possession of a loaded, prohibited or restricted firearm
• Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition knowing its possession is unauthorized

He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, June 29 for a bail hearing.
