Brampton man arrested for harassment towards 15 year old girl

A local resident is facing charges following a recent harassment incident in Brampton.
On the morning of Monday, Feb. 14, police say a 15-year-old girl was walking to her school bus stop near Chinguacousy and Mayfield Road when a man in a vehicle approached her.
“It is alleged that the man asked the female if she wanted to get into his SUV for a ride,” said police.
The vehicle in question was a 2013 navy blue Land Rover Freelander SUV.
Investigators identified the suspect as 54-year-old Brampton man Suresh Ratnani, who has been arrested and charged with Criminal Harassment and Failing to Comply with an Undertaking.

He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice today, Feb. 26.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging them to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, extension 2233.
