Brampton man, 30, dead after shooting; police seeking footage from public

Police in Brampton are investigating a fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man early last Saturday.
Ricardo Bryan died of his injuries on Wednesday, four days after being shot multiple times inside what Peel Regional Police called” a food and beverage establishment” in the area of Kennedy Road & Sandalwood Parkway. The call to emergency services was made around 1:24 a.m. on Saturday (April 30).
The Peel police believe that Bryan was the intended target of this shooting and that it was an isolated incident. However, there is not yet any suspect information.
Investigators with Peel police’s homicide and missing persons bureau are seeking public assistance as they investigate. They are asking anyone with information on this incident, or who has surveillance or dashcam footage or may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after the incident to contact investigators.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.
