Brampton Lamborghini driver faces $18,000 in rental costs after doing dangerous speeds

A test drive of a rented Lamborghini on a Brampton street is going to cost a London, Ontario man some serious cash.

According to Peel Regional Police Road Safety Services, a 28-year-old was doing 120 km/hr; twice the posted 60 km/hr speed limit on the street.

A Peel cop spotted the lime green green Lamborghini in flight and pulled the driver over.

“Due to the 14 day impoundment fee this rental will now cost this 28yr/old London Resident $18,000 once it is returned to the rental company,” police said.

The name of the driver has not been released.
