Police have charged a Brampton high school teacher with sexual assault and are asking victims to come forward.

In February 2022, Peel Regional Police say officers from the Special Victims Unit were notified of a number of alleged sexual assaults that had occurred at a high school in the City of Brampton between Nov. 2019 and Oct. 2020.

Investigators have charged Bentley Rattray, a 49-year-old man from Hamilton with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference.

Police say Rattray was employed as a teacher at the high school at the time of the alleged incidents, but have not released details on how many victims there may be or which Brampton school Rattray worked for.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on these incidents or any one else that might be a victim to contact police at (905)-453-3311 ext. 3460.
