Emergency crews are currently at the scene of a fire in the Queen St. E. and Kennedy Rd. S. area of Brampton.

Initial reports say smoke can be seen coming from a building and Peel Police are assisting Brampton firefighters in evacuating the building.

Westbound Queen at Kennedy has been shut down to deal with the emergency.
