Brampton father of two cashes in with $75,000 lotto win

A Brampton man is $75,000 richer after winning the top prize with Instant X Words.
Roger Patriarca says he has been playing the lottery for about a year, and usually plays Instant games.
The 39-year-old father of two said he was stunned when checking his ticket using the OLG App, realising he’d just won big.
“I checked it about four times. I was shaking and I ran to tell my wife the news,” he said. “She couldn’t believe it.”
The Brampton father said he’s planning a vacation with the winnings and has plans to buy a house, saying the win means his “dreams are going to be fulfilled.”
OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, with prize winners between $1,000 and $49,999.90 encouraged to submit their claims online or mail them.
