A Brampton man says his wife was jumping in celebration after his lottery win.

Joel De Jesus of Brampton won a Lotto 6/49 Super Draw prize worth $100,000 in the Dec. 24 draw, according to a press release from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

The Lotto 6/49 Super Draw included 10 $100,000 guaranteed prize draws in addition to the Gold Ball Draw and the Classic Draw.

De Jesus, a 58-year-old father, said he is a regular Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max player and he purchased the ticket online at OLG.ca.

He and his wife celebrated the win.

“When I discovered my win, my wife and I were so excited. She was jumping in celebration,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

He didn’t have big plans for the win.

“I have no plans yet other than paying some bills,” he said.
