Brampton fail-to-remain suspect ‘took the bumper with him’

If you see a man running in Brampton while carrying a car bumper, you should call the police.
Peel Regional Police say that a vehicle crashed into a tree in the area of Meadowland Drive and Clarence Street around 4 p.m. on Thursday (May 5). There were no reports of injuries, but the man reportedly “fled the area on foot and took the bumper with him.”
Failing to remain with a vehicle after a crash, even if there were no other people or vehicles involved, is illegal under the Highway Traffic Act.
