Brampton driver slams into highway wall and continues driving

Officers of the OPP Highway Safety Division thank the public for their help in stopping a Brampton driver after their erratic behaviour garners several 911 calls.

Police say they received numerous reports of a vehicle on northbound Highway 410 driving in a dangerous manner.

The vehicle had hit the wall on the highway and received extensive damage, losing the front-right tire as well as some paneling on the passenger-side door.

Citizens attempted to box in the vehicle.

Police say the driver managed to get out and continued to drive on three wheels before being stopped by Mississauga OPP and Peel Regional Police.

The driver has been charged with impaired driving.

The OPP Highway Safety Division thanks members of the public for calling 911 to report the incident.
