Brampton driver faces stunt driving charges in West Perth

A Brampton driver faces stunt driving charges after police stopped a vehicle west of Kitchener.
A Perth County OPP officer was on general patrol on Aug. 11 just before 1 p.m. on Road 64 in West Perth, west of Kitchener, when they clocked a driver travelling 138 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone, OPP said in a press release.
A 33-year-old resident of Brampton was charged with race motor vehicle, perform stunt-excessive speed, police said.
The driver received a 30-day driving suspension and 14-day vehicle impoundment. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
