Brampton driver dies in single-vehicle crash in Caledon

A single-vehicle collision claimed the life of a Brampton resident.

Emergency crews were called to the crash on King Street, near Creditview Road in Caledon shortly after 8 a.m. on Sunday, OPP said.

The collision occurred between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m., police said.

Police said the 60-year-old driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a Brampton resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

King Street between Creditview Road and Chinguacousy Road was closed for several hours while police investigated.

The road reopened around 3:30 p.m.
