Brampton driver claims ‘late for work’ after clocked at 211 km/hr on Hwy. 401 in Milton

A Brampton driver faces stunt driving charges after a vehicle was clocked at 211 km/hr on Highway 401 in Milton.
Officers stopped a vehicle after measuring a speed of 211 km/hr on the highway, OPP said on X Thursday morning (Dec. 14).
Police said the driver claimed they were “late for work.”
Police charged a 20-year-old driver from Brampton with stunt driving. The driver’s vehicle was impounded for 14 days and they received a 30-day suspension.
They were likely really late for work.
