Brampton driver charged for going almost double the speed limit in Hamilton

A Brampton driver has been charged for speeding in Hamilton this afternoon (June 1).
Police say they caught the commercial truck driver going 114 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone on Highway 6 North.
The driver, a 23 year old from Brampton, was hit with a stunt driving charge.
The truck was impounded for 14 days and the driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days.
