Brampton crash sends woman to hospital; police warn motorists to avoid area

The Major Collision Bureau (MCB) is on the scene of an early morning crash in Brampton on Wednesday (Aug. 18).

According to Peel Regional Police, a woman has been taken to hospital with minor injuries following a two-car crash in the area of Airport Road and Mayfield Road in Brampton just before 7 a.m.

The driver of the other car, police said, was treated at the scene of the crash.

Motorists in the area are being asked to use alternate routes as the MCB investigates the collision.
