Brampton Centennial in lockdown, Bishop Francis in hold and secure due to woman seen with gun

Peel Regional Police (PRP) are investigating reports of a woman armed with a gun in Brampton.

The woman was seen in the area of Elgin Drive and McMurchy Avenue. Currently, PRP are on scene and investigating.

Brampton Centennial Secondary School is currently in lockdown, while Bishop Francis Catholic Elementary School is in hold and secure.

Residents can expect a heavy police presence in the area.
