Brampton assault suspect sought after woman accosted in Massey Park

Peel police’s criminal investigations bureau are seeking witnesses who may have dashcam or surveillance footage after a white male assaulted a woman in a Brampton park on Wednesday (Sept. 15).

Around 10:55 a.m. that morning, say Peel Regional Police, an unknown suspect was in the area of Massey Park in Brampton. The suspect approached the victim and forcibly grabbed her by her shoulder. The victim broke free from the suspect and called for help. The the suspect ran into the park’s wooded area.

The suspect is described as a while man in his mid-20s who is about five-foot-nine and 180 pounds with a medium build. He has brown eyes and a black beard with a mustache. He wearing a black hooded top with a white logoon the front, black baseball hat, black jogging pants, black and white sneakers, and a blue or white surgical mask.

The suspect is associated with a black mountain bike.

The victim did not sustain any injuries during the assault.
