The Brampton Animal Shelter was on the receiving end of a recent $15,000 donation.

The funds came from BOBS from Skechers, Skechers’ charitable collection, and Petco Love, and recognized the shelter’s efforts to protect and save shelter dogs and cats.

“We are proud to recognize the incredible accomplishments of these deserving organizations who share our commitment to animal welfare,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers.

“Our impact is made possible through our consumers’ engagement and belief in the BOBS movement as well as our partnership with Petco Love and their extensive animal shelter and support network.”

The City of Brampton Animal Services department advocates for the treatment of animals, and works with organizations that seek to end animal cruelty, improve animal protection and promote the humane treatment of all animals.

Petco Love is a nonprofit, changing lives by making communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since 1999, the organization has empowered animal welfare organizations by investing $300 million in adoption and other lifesaving efforts.
