Bowmanville man caught with cocaine and a firearm

A drug investigation by members of Durham Police’s East Division resulted in drugs, cash and a firearm seized in Bowmanville.

After police heard complaints of drugs being sold to minors in the community they began and subsequently executed a search warrant on West Scugog Lane in Bowmanville and arrested a 23 year-old man after discovering a handgun, cash, drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Enrique Williamson of Clarington faces three firearm-related offences, three drug charges (cocaine and marijuana) and fail to comply with a probation order.

He was held for a bail hearing.
