The couple plan to retire with their new-found windfall. “We have been feeling like we’re on vacation since we won. However, the vacation can continue since we can officially retire,” enthused Debbie, who said they were on “cloud nine.”

Ken, who said they always use birthdays and birth months of their kids for the numbers, discovered their lottery luck New Year’s Day when they sat down together to check the ticket. “I heard the winning jingle and thought we won a free ticket at first. When I looked closer and noticed it was really a $2.5 million win, I showed Debby. We were shocked!”

Debby and Ken both plan on putting their win toward retirement.
