Bowmanville Butter Tart Festival this Saturday

Butter tart lovers should make a bee-line to Bowmanville this Saturday for the Bowmanville Butter Tarts and More Market, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Garnet Rickard Recreation Complex.
Organized by Gotta Luv Butter Tarts Festivals, the sweet event will feature more than 80 vendors showcasing the best of butter tarts of all varieties, along with cookies and other delicious baked goods.
Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has already made a new notch on his belt in preparation for his judging duties at the festival, which has become a popular annual spring tradition in Bowmanville.
Admission is free but donations of non-perishable foods for the Clarington East Food Bank are welcomed.
