The two school boards in Niagara Region both showed huge drops of COVID-19 cases compared to last week as both registered the lowest number since the school year began.

Only three schools in the District School Board of Niagara’s 95-plus campuses are showing cases of COVID-19 as of yesterday (October 18).

Harriet Tubman has three cases with one closed classroom, Jeanne Sauvé has two cases with two closed classrooms and Princess Elizabeth has one case with two closed classrooms.

The Niagara Catholic District School Board with slightly less schools is showing even better success with just three schools affected by COVID-19 cases but in smaller amounts.

Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School has one case with one closed classroom, Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School has one case with one closed classroom and Saint Paul Catholic High School has one case with no closed classroom.
