Border agency to resume services at Oakville, Burlington small vessel sites

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will resume services at small vessel sites on Friday (May 20) in Oakville, Burlington and at most sites across Canada.
These changes are part of a phased approach to gradually reopen CBSA sites still affected by the temporary measures put in place as a result of COVID-19.
Five sites in Oakville and one in Burlington are part of the 255 in the province where CBSA overview of small vessels will resume.
Local sites include Oakville Club, Oakville Harbour Marina, Oakville Power Boat Club, Oakville Yacht Squadron, Bronte Harbour and Fisherman’s Pier (Burlington Canal) in Burlington.
The CBSA provides clearance, control and examination services, on behalf of other government departments and agencies, for travellers, importers and exporters, at close to 1,200 points of entry (POE), including land border offices, international mail processing centres, airports, sufferance warehouses, and a number of other service locations.
Live agents are available Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and Federal statutory holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
