Bomb squad called to Milton GO bus carpool

Halton Regional Police were investigating a suspicious package at the Go Bus station at a carpool lot at Hwy 401 and Hwy 25 in Milton.
Police were called to the GO Transit carpool lot at Hwy 401 and Hwy 25 around 6:30 pm Sunday following reports of suspicious activity and a package in a GO bus in the lot.
One man is now in custody as the bomb squad has been called as Halton police investigate a suspicious package at a carpool in Milton.
Police are currently holding the area. All passengers and the driver safely evacuated from the bus.
The investigation is ongoing.
