Body of deceased person found early Tuesday evening in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are investigating after a body was found early Tuesday night in Brampton.

Police say they received a call at 5:32 p.m. that a deceased person had been located outside in the area of Sandalwood Parkway, west of Conestoga Drive.

There is a heavy police presence in the area.

Peel Police say there is no threat to public safety.

No further information is known at this time.
